The Coeur d'Alene, Idaho Affiliate of Komen for the Cure® is working to better the lives of those fighting breast cancer in our local community. We join more than a million breast cancer survivors and activists around the globe as part of the world's largest and most progressive grassroots network fighting breast cancer! | Through events like the Komen Coeur d'Alene Race for the Cure®, the Coeur d'Alene Affiliate has invested over $1 million in community breast health and awareness programs in our five-county service area. Seventy-five percent of net proceeds generated by the Affiliate stay here in Idaho and are granted out. The remaining twenty-five percent goes to the National Susan G. Komen For The Cure® Grants Program to fund research. |
